If you are trying to run Call Of Duty 2 on Windows 10 then the black screen is a problem for most people.
Here is a solution to the "black screen problem" on COD2
First set this setting on the program settings shortcut
Then download config_mp.rar and replace the config_mp.cfg in the \Call of Duty 2\main\players\Playername\ folder.
This config file resets all settings and you can ingame change the settings for screen and sound.
Start the game and wait about 10 seconds, now the game should run.
